What an experience! The food was amazing and service was attentive. The sommelier did a great job of wine recommendations. He asked great questions about what we liked and he didn't disappoint with his selection for us.

Although some of the dishes of the 10-course dinner are barely a spoonful, the diversity of the flavours is remarkable, as it is the effort they put in the presentation and preparation (you might think that they try too hard). It is completely worth the 70 euros. The service is great too. We recommend to book in advance, as it is a very tiny restaurant. And better not to go too late. We booked at 9 and finished before 1 am. We have great memories from Lisbon and from 100 Maneiras.

So we did the whole thing WITH wine. If you can hold your booze I recommend this option, if you can't then just order one bottle. Everything was fantastic, the presentation, the staff, getting a last minute reservation was easy, and the cosy space helped make the evening thoroughly enjoyable.

After this we tried their other restaurant (the bistro) which was also great but not as fun as this place.

A gourmet feast in a playful, informal atmosphere. The servers are young and enthusiastic. Their descriptions of the dishes was creative and they all seemed to have excellent language skills. The food itself was fun, delicious and creative. We had planned to photo every course, but sometimes we were so intrigued that we dug in before getting the picture. The wine might have affected our memory as well. They even picked a clever name for the place. 100 Maneiras, when pronounced in Portuguese sounds like "without manners".

It's .a small place, so be sure to book far in advance.

The inside of this restaurant is great but The food was hit and Miss. My wife and I did the 10 course tasting and felt while the desserts and a couple of the courses were really good about 4 of them we had a hard time even eating such as the clothes line cod(it looked cool though). My wife actually stopped after the first three as they were very fishy and odd and wasnt her thing. I kept going and was glad I did as the lamb with some kind of purée was really good and the desserts as I mentioned were excellent. The wine and service was great but don't go unless you are prepared for food that pushes the envelope but strikes out at times.
