One of the nicest things about Lisbon is that there are very few tourist traps and this family restaurant is no exception. Although tucked away on the edge of the commercial district and the tourist old city it is very local and the family went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They even disturbed the 'son' from his homework to come and translate.
The food is standard Portuguese fare, but fresh with good portions. There was a plat du jour (pasta something) that the locals were eating, but we did not try.
Good value and pleasant experience.
