An excellent choice for a no frills city break in Lisbon. Well situated the hotel was clean throughout & the room whilst basic was verycomfortable with a well appointed bathroom with a very good walk in shower. The 1st room we were allocated had a broken toilet seat so we were immediately moved to another room. The breakfast was typically European with good selectionof breads, cheese & ham etc. A tip for visitors, the hotel is to be gound at the noyom of Elevator Gloria.

very good hotel at the heart of Lisbon, very close to everything including bus, train, metro. historical places and shopping centers are few minutes walk. staff are very helpful, free luggage storage facilities if guest arrives early and also after chk out.

Rooms are not so big but perfect with modern bathroom facilities. But I found cockroaches in the room and also in the luggage room, which was not pleasant at all.

Breakfast is very basic and ok. I mean bread, butter, croissant but the pan cake etc was not that good. They could have reduced the items of food and increase the quality of the items, but no big complain.

Nt so cheap, but I will recommend this to others.

The hotel has a perfect location within a walking distance to most of Lisbon's historical sites, and also close the bar, club and shopping areas. The train station from which you can take a trip to Sintra and Belem is just 3 minutes away.

The rooms are clean and not too small, with new bathroom facilities. The stuff were extremely helpful whenever we addressed them.

A pleasant extra: we also enjoyed a fado evening and a really exquisite dinner at the hotel restaurant.

The only drawback would be the really bad wifi connection. I would also note that the sockets are so well-hidden, that we discovered them only on the last day of our stay :)

We loved the convenience of this hotel as it was close to the Barrio Alto district. It was clean and not too noisy as it is not on a busy street. The main point to keep in mind is that though they advertise as having wi-fi, the internet is basically non-existent due to a limit of 10 people per connection at a time. It took me 45 minutes to access hotmail, and another 20 minutes to read the first message. Not great if you are relying on the net for planning your holiday, but other than that it was good value.

travelled with 12 mates, just wanted to see the city, so found this cheap hotel near city centre and indeed the location was great, almost half of the top Lisbon attractions are within walkable distance from the hotel. Great tram and bus connectivity. The hotel is good for a 2 star, rooms quality not that great, but hey we didnt go for honeymoon, we were out all day anyway. Rooms were cleaned everyday inc linen. The a/c and heater is combined and can be operated via a little switch in the room. Bathroom and toilets are small . The hotel staff were english speaking and proffessional anbd helpful , have all the city maps and also can book taxis.
you got all shops and everything just downstairs of the hotel within 1 min walk
Nothing much to say about breakfast, you get what you pay for. The old lady in the breakfast room was watching us with hawk eyes when we took some marmalade from the jar, after sometime she replaced the jar with a small dish..lol funny
Got a Tram line next to the hotel but its not that disturbing.
All in all, i would go again with mates but not with family or couple.

We stayed here for the 2nd bank holiday in May & we found it near faultless. People have mentioned the breakfast buffet as being inadequate, however we found it to have the usual choices of cereals, yoghurts, pastries, meats & cheeses- as a big eater I had more than enough to eat. The room itself was fantastic, spacious yet cosy, beautifully decorated, & well maintained. The only issue we had was that upon returning 1 evening there was a slight smell of sewage which went after we opened the windows.
At €40 per night we found this hotel to be mire than sufficient as it was located close to the metro lines & also Barrio Alto. We'd happily stay here again!

The hotel is located in the center of Lisbon and very close to everything. Quite cheap. Facilities are okay and seems to get better all the time – i.e. the locks for the rooms were changed during the week we stayed to something more modern. No minibar and quite small. Very close to the tram for Bairro Alto which makes it quite noisy and the windows are very thin so go buy some earplugs – then you'll sleep well. But don't go for the breakfast – there are too many guests and too little food and service.

Room Tip: Only go for a Superior Room.
