We went around the city but sometimes come back and forth to the hostel to have a little rest, put away some stuff or to use wifi at the hostel. It's just in the center of everything, Rossio square, Baixa, very near Bairro Alto, Restaurandores,...
The hostel is clean, friendly staff who try to create some fun activities every day (although the atmosphere is not the most fun among the hostels I've been). Free breakfast is offered and I really like the lady who serves it. She's very friendly and speaks a good English.

Really well run by a family who clearly care a lot about their guests' experience. Trying to find something to fault is difficult... perhaps that it was quite hard to find?

Aside from this, the location is awesome, the place is a relaxing little getaway, and all the people who work there are friendly and speak good English.

Modern hostels as they're supposed to be!

This hostel is such excellent value for money. Located right in the centre of Lisbon (literally on the main square) it feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. The decor fresh and modern and the staff are fantastic.

We stayed in a private room on one of the highest floors. The room was clean, spacious and really well decorated. Rossio seem to put all the private/double rooms on the same floor which is great - you don't have rowdy groups in multi-bed dorms next door! The only minor downside was that there was no air conditioning in the room. It was rather quite warm in Lisbon when we visited so the room got a little warm. A fan was included in the room and we could open the window, but because the room overlooked the square and because the fan was a bit loud, it made sleep a little difficult on hot nights.

The hostel offers everything you could want and more. Delicious breakfast cooked to order every morning, computers/internet facilities plus some great social activities. I highly recommend going along to visit a Fado performance at one of the tiny bars nearby. Absolutely the highlight of our visit. The Portuguese tapas night was great too - the chorizo, cheese and wine were delicious!!

This was the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The hostel honestly made our vacation to Lisbon. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. They helped us plan our weekend vacation and gave us step by step instructions of how to get to the places that they wanted to see. A cute lady makes breakfast for you in the morning. Eggs and toast or chocolate crepes. Yummm. The hostel felt more like a bed and breakfast. The rates were so cheap. The rooms are decorated so nice. It was quiet at night, but during the day and evening the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The staff plans nightly events that you can participate in to meet other people. The location cannot be beat- right in the middle of the city. I would HIGHLY recommend this hostel to anyone who wants a fantastic place to stay all on a traveler's budget!

I am not a hostel person - I prefer my comfort in a nice hotel but I was recommended this hostel by friends who were travelling the world and on budget. I was reluctant to book in but once I found out I could get a private double room, I was delighted. the hostel is a little gem in a perfect location that could easily compete with a star-rated hotels. The cleanliness was immaculate, the staff were VERY helpful and the breakfast provided was top notch. This is the place to experience when you are in Lisbon - the location is ideal whether you wish to explore the city or get from and back to the airport. The staff is always very informative and helpful. The rooms are decent size and kept very neat. here are only 2 rooms sharing one bathroom and the bathrrom itself can easily compete with a 4* hotel. The lounge is an oasis for relaxation, very comfortable and cozy.

Room Tip: Get a private double room

I've had the most amazing time in Lisbonne, at first, with my friend. Everybody in the hostel was great and i felt like home. every single day, Lidia asked me if i'd like to have toasts and eggs or nutella pancakes... Well... the toasts were great, but the pancakes... MY GOD!!! How I miss those pancakes every day here, back in Brazil! The rooms were clean, safe and warm, the toillets were great! people over there were amazing, and i made lots and lots of friends! I totally recommend them! Miss all.. Catarina, Fred, Maria, Patricia, Lidia, Nelsi..... <3
