We had a nice stay in Lisbon despite the weather, which was rather cool and rainy, and also despite being robbed in the third day of our stay (still have no idea how was it possible, in an almost empty place, early morning). Martin and Andre were always helpful. The small apt has a great location, pretty much close to everything. The amenities are not what you usually get, but I guess it might be specific to Lisbon - e.g.you have to turn on the gas to have hot water. Be aware: the apt. is not suitable for three - the sofa in the living room is not a sleeping sofa (as it reads in the description), and the one heater and the small table in the kitchen was not enough for our family of three, either. However, the view and the location compensated for everything.
We loved this bright, sunny little flat. It is perfectly situated in a part of Lisbon with easy access to the metro, train station, and excellent walking around this beautiful city. The flat is in a very old building, (4th floor walk-up, small rooms, bathroom, kitchen) so come prepared to be in close with your travel mates, and to adjust to small spaces. We were 3 adults, and even so, this didn't really bother us, however. We visited in March, it was a bit cold and rainy, and the flat had only a single space heater for one room, so depending on your travel dates, be prepared with a few extra layers of warm clothing. Nearby are lots of places to eat, shop, buy groceries, and really all of what the city has to offer. The proprietors were very helpful and accommodating, and I would definitely stay here again on another visit to Lisbon.
This was our first stop in Portugal and as it happened it turned out to be the best as well. The apartment is perfectly situated in Baixa-Chiado and close to everything. The street is quiet and the apartment is comfortable and has great views over the city towards the Sao Jorge castel.
Martin was helpful, punctual and a pleasure to deal with. We had a wonderful stay in Lisbon and I would give this property a five-star rating and gladly stay here again.
