We found this restaurant on recommendation of our concierge at the hotel. What a good suggestion. Great gin and tonic and the food was really fine. My spouse had the salt cod, which was excellent. I had the monkfish/shrimp/bacon skewers. It shouldn't have worked, but it did. The setting was lovely and the wine terrific. Decent food at a reasonable price. You will be glad you gave this place a try.

The food at the restaurant was probably the best we had in Lisbon. I had the grilled octupus and it was great. Unfortunately we were seated upstairs and all of the smoke from the bar came right by our table. It was bad even by Lisbon standards and completely ruined the meal. If smoke bothers you make sure you are downstairs and away from the bar.

Fantastic find - lovely restaurant with high arches and great atmosphere.
Food tasty (have hot garlic prawns-yum) but evening spoiled by waiting for 40 minutes even though we reserved a table.

A colleague recommended this restaurant, and we tried it on our last night in Europe. The service was incredibly friendly and inviting, despite the fact that we probably should have had a reservation, the restaurant filled very quickly, even on a weeknight. Beautiful modern decor, in an 800 year old building. Very welcoming to our children. The food was presented very artfully AND it was delicious (those two things don't always come together). Plenty of variety to suit all tastes.

Lots of special areas in the restaurants for couples, parties, etc...

Encouraged by very positive reviews on tripadvisor, we decided to have dinner at Sacramento on a Saturday night. We called one hour before and booked a table for 21:30. We have been seated in a very cosy lounge and started the evening with a bottle of good red wine (Pequeno Pintor- I higly recommend it) and a little couvert (pieces of bread, tiny plate filled with strong-tasting olive oil and a microscopical quantity of white cheese spread).

The main course was there shortly, only to suprise us with one of the best gourmet hamburgers and one of the most tender & tasty octopus dished we have ever had in Lisbon. Girls had polvo a lagereiro (grilled octopus, not even a bit chewy and so fresh!) and arroz de polvo com gambas (famous portuguese seafood rice- very delicious and aromatic). Guys had picanha burger (made with best quality beef) and bacalhau com broa (served as a big chunk of grilled codfish on the bed of green portuguese cabbage- super tasty).
The portions were not very big, then again, it's a fancy restaurant so we did not expect more in that aspect.

Overall, this would have been the very pleasant evening, if it wasn't for a big rip off on the price of couvert. To my suprise, that really small doze of entries cost 2,50 eur each, so we basically paid 10 euros just for the bread which i think it's not ok and an outrage for portuguese standards.

Even that juicy octopuss couldn't make up for that.

I will come back there for sure, as the food was excellent. I'll just pass on the starters.
