My boyfriend and i arrived early in the evening and started by have a couple of very lovely drinks in the bar. At dinner we were seated at a table close to the door, but when we complained about it been a bit too cold we were moved to a different table. We had some bread and some lovely starters (fried forrest mushrooms - very flavorful - and delisious clams) and both salmon as a main. All the dishes were fresh, great tasting and well seasoned. We had a bottle of white wine skillfully recommended by the waiter with the meal. The chocolate covered strawberries were amazing, but the creme brulée was more of a panna cotta i you ask me. However all in all a great evening and very recommendable.

Sacramento is a little gem. In fact there's more to it than meets the eye. When we arrived we had not made a reservation, but the manager soon found us a table. It was quiet when we went in but soon filled up. The ambience, decor, staff, food and wine were all exceptional and very reasonably priced too. We ended up staying longer than intended and were in fact the "last to leave". I am looking forward to another visit.

Great atmosphere, great service and fantastic food. One of the best meals we had in Lisbon this year. I took the bacalha and my wife the tuna tatar. Both great. The waiter recommended a very good white wine: ESPORAO. I also recommend it

Went to Sacramento without a reservation and the manager was happy to find us a table without any fuss. when we arrived it was quiet but soon got busy. the staff, food, wine and drink selection were excellent. After we had dinner we sat in the bar area for coffee and more drinks and stayed all night because of the atmosphere.

A easy walk from Rua Garrett in the Baixa neighborhood, this restaurant is in a historic building from the 13th century, which was the home of Portugal’s first secular university, opened in 1255. A pleasant, upscale atmosphere but also suitable for out pre-teens too. We were welcomed by the owner and served by an earnest waiter who conversed with us in Italian, English and Spanish. The menu’s forte are its fish dishes. It was hard to choose between tuna tartar, salmon and grilled octopus. So we ordered all three as well as the baccala’, which, although, not prepared in the traditional way, was good all the same. The side salads served with the main courses were a little ho-hum though. The presentation of the grilled octopus on cooked spinach and potatoes was appetizing and the combination of flavors just right. The entree of baccala’ carpaccio was fresh and very good. The best dish though was the risotto with mixed fish; the one with octopus was a little bit watery. Served in a large serving dish, one portion of risotto is enough for two people. We washed it all down with a light, dry white wine from southern Portugal for 24 Euros (first one on the list, can’t remember the name). Simply excellent. No room for dessert but they looked great.
