After a few " basic" experiences of portuguese cuisine, we opted for a more upscale restaurant and were extremely pleased with Sacramento. The food, ambiance and service were excellent. We had bacalhau (cod) carpaccio and octopus (the whole beast) and it was delicious. We asked for a cheese plate which was not on the menu and not only it was easy to get it but it was delicious. We also wondered if it was possible to buy a bottle of port in the neighborhood and we were happy to learn that we could get one from their cellar to take out. A wonderful experience.
