Best restaurant ever. The owner, Adelaide, is very nice and spoke with us a lot. You should try the bacalhau grelhado and the amazing polvo a lagareiro. We went to this place 2 times in 3 nights we stayed in lisboa. You won't regret. If drinking a bottle of wine and ordering deserts, prepare to spend around 40 euros/person

Here is probably the smallest kitchen in Lisbon, two persons are already a crowd, but they really amaze with the food. There are only 26 places (but could not be more, or the kitchen could not flow) in a sober space decorated with beautiful furniture and a romantic atmosphere.
The specialties are many, but paletilha lamb, the cod in the oven and the octopus are the best, some times the food taste like it was just warm up - and that is not good, pray attention.
The wines list is at prohibitive prices

The place is small and the atmopshere is unpleasant with the kitchen almost inside the dining room and a basin to washing hands two meters distance from the first table. They ask 4 euros for the cover charge and they give for that just bread and olives. We choose spiritual bacalhau and fried soles. The first dish was well cooked and the salad, that came together was good. The small soles were too much fried so they were too dry and there was nothing to eat. The rice and greens that came together was too cooked and with little taste. Finally we ordered a raspberries tart and the raspberries were all moldy. We sent it back without paying. We spent 54 euros and we ate very bad.

Tasquinha d'Adelaide is a very small restaurant. The cuisine is northern portuguese, which mean heavy food, very well done and tasty. It´s not easy to find a place, so I highly recommend a reservation. It´s an expensive restaurant. Worth a visit if you search a really portuguese food experience.
