Eurostars Das Letras is well placed close to the main tourist areas of Lisboa, but not directly on the main tourist street. Hotel location makes it easy to get to and from the avenue and metro yet pleasingly quiet.
The hotel has a smart and modern décor and rooms are well appointed. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room and bed was comfortable, bath modern well kept and all in order.

Concierge helped plan a one day itinerary for a quick view of the major Lisbon sites.

Breakfast is provided in a comfortable and bright dining room on the lower level. Good assortment of both hot and cold items, and coffee was plentiful.

This hotel is located a short walk from a train stop in the nicest part of Lisbon. The rooms are large and modern and the upper floors have huge a balcony, perfect for sitting out in the warm lisbon weather. This more of a business hotel so it;s not full of loud tourists. The surrounding areas are loaded with nice restaurants and other upscale hotels. It's a quiet classy area not like the louder more active areas near the main train station. I'd reccommend this for those looking for a comfortable hotel in a classy area. If you want activity stay downtown near the main squares.

If arriving from the airport take the metro and get off at avenida. The hotel is a short walk up the hill. The metros are real cheap but very clean and well run.

Room Tip: The 7 floors rooms have a balcony. They are real nice rooms, some of the nicest you'll find anywhere.

It may look like a business hotel but is comfortable and the breakfast is good and plentiful, with lots of choice. The hot food is scrambled eggs and very tasty bacon while the rest includes a wide selection of cheeses, hams, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, juices, pancakes, pastries, breads (with toaster) and various accompaniments to them. The rates are very reasonable and the service good. The location is very good for sightseeing (as long as you can manage the steep hill up from the main avenue) and there are many reasonable - but good restaurants in the vicinity.

We stayed for one day as our flight was booked for the other day. When you enter you get into a nice lobby. The Front Desk personal was very kind, informative and helpful. One of the personal was helping us with our bags. We gave him some Euros at our room. He was very helpful and gave us infos where to eat or where to go.

The room had a huge bad just like on the pictures! It was tip-top clean! Very nice bathroom and view from the 6th floor.

Sadly we had to check out early at 7 am as our plane was leaving Lisbon at 9 am. The metro station "Avenida" is not even 500 meters away. So with a small walk you can reach the airport.

When i visit Lisbon again i will book a room in this hotel for sure!

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel. It was really superb. The room was spacious and comfortable. And very well kitted out. Excellent bathroom with separate bath and shower (which contained wall jets). Staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast (hot and cold) was more than enough to get you up and running for the day.
You can cut down the street to the left to take you into the main street but be aware that its a steep walk back up after a long day on your feet. However, cabs are so cheap that you can just jump in one if the hill is too much.
I dont know why you would want to stay anywhere else whilst visiting Lisbon!
