From the UK so always disappointed with Indian restaurants elsewhere. However the food was very good indeed.

“Light, inventive Indian cooking in an attractive setting”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

Had a great meal here recently after a fairly mediocre series of meals elsewhere in Lisbon, it well and truly restored my faith in the city's food offerings! The dishes we had were full of flavour, pretty much oil-free, and well presented. The menu comes in an all-English version and the two waiting staff seemed to effortlessly slip between English and Portguese with different diners. As the restaurant is fairly small, we could hear our food being cooked and heard our positive feedback being passed to the chef - both good signs. We were consulted on how spicey we preferred our food and what arrived was bang on what had been discussed.
Unlike most restaurants in this price range, there are no tacky tablecloths, tv screens or ice cream cabinets in sight - this feels like a proper restaurant and you leave feeling you've had a proper meal.

“Good Indian food”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

Off the beaten track but not far from the Avenida de Liberdade this is a small restaurant serving good Indian food. Not very hot unless you ask for chilli to be added. The staff are welcoming and attentive.
