Staying at Hotel Fontcruz we were looking for someplace close. Luckily with out a reservation we got great seats, food, wine, and service. Try the goat!

Went here a few weeks ago without a reservation. We arrived shortly after opening and when we said we didn't have a reservation, they led us upstairs to a little side room on the second floor. Service started out a bit spotty...the gentleman was pretty grumpy and didn't seem too interested in answering our questions or making us feel welcome. Luckily, someone else took over and he was an absolute delight! Helpful, friendly and a great sense of humor. Definitely improved the experience.

As soon as you sit down, there are already a selection of appetizers on your table - cheese, bread, ham, olives, etc. You basically pick what you want and they take the rest away. But if you start eating from it, you buy it! We kept the cheese and the bread - they were both fantastic.

Wine list is very interesting...they give you an iPad and you can scroll through all the options to select what you want. We had the rice with lobster and shrimp and the bread bowl with lobster and shrimp - both quite tasty. I was finishing my rice dish (or so I thought) when the waiter appeared with more and re-filled my plate. Desserts were delicious, so save room if you can. The food was pricey, but very good. Not my favorite meal in Lisbon, but worth a visit.

Old place. Run from 1974. Good seafood, very fresh and tasty. A little bit touristing, but always booked. So reservation is required.

Food is good, but also a little bit overpriced, as up to local standards. However, if you ready to pay around 130 euros, as we did, for a diner for two with two starters, two main courses, deserts and a bottle of good wine (about 30 euros, well it was our choice, you can get cheaper starting 14 euros)  you have be there to enjoy fresh seafood, lengthy wine list (you have to choose using some kind ipad, from really lengths list) and delicious deserts.   Yes, also place is famous for best in city  prosuto crudo, served as a starter.

My wife and I had dinner there. Very busy restaurant but staff very friendly and did not appear hurried. Food was very good but expensive by lisbon standards. For a special occasion!

Saw the great review here and decided a must for our visit. While we were at elevador santa justo, the person who checked on tickets recommended this place as well so our 1st dinner stop in Lisbon.

Place is FULLY decorated with caricatures of famous people or actual photos with local famous people, though I'm only familira with people like Ronaldo of real madrid.

Food is great as expected. The lobster/seafood rice is pure heaven. I personally rank it higher than the salt baked seabass.

The small lane of this restaurant is parallel to the Avenue da Liberdade

Metro stop : Rossio . a more convenient stop to walk over.
