“Best Chinese Restaurant in Portugal”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

Definitely the best chinese food restaurant you'll find in Portugal. This restaurant, under the casino is glamorous and the food is very good.

“Do not expect authentic Chinese cuisine”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

Lovely décor: quite an elegant setting. Menu is extensive. Fresh fish and lobsters etc. by the gram and is expensive. Rest of the menu is reasonable considering such an upscale setting. Tried this venue on 2 occasions and came away very disappointed. If you are desperate for Chinese food this will do. But do not expect terrific authentic cuisine.

“Poor service, expensive mediocre food.”
Reviewed September 16, 2013 via mobile

Starters were fine, we were seated outside when main course was brought iut from kit hen it was left sitting on a middle table for 5 minutes before being brought to out table, the other waiter was taking and delivering drinks orders to other tables and continually walked by our food. When it arrived our food was cold and my main course was wrong! Could not recommend this restaurant.

“DON'T LOSE YOUR CASH IN THE CASINO - DROP BY THE CHINESE”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

Said by the guidebook to be the best Chinese restaurant in Portugal, we were tempted to try it and weren’t disappointed. The surroundings were rich, the seats were comfortable, the service was attentive yet unobtrusive, the food was good - especially its presentation, and the price seemed reasonable. Whether it beats any other Chinese restaurant in Portugal is hard to say, but we enjoyed it – and the dancing illuminated fountains made it an evening to remember.

“a disappointing experience”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

Although the service was fine, the food was way below the level of your average Chinese take out in New York City and the prices excessive. I notice that the only positive reviews I've read about this joint were from local people who obviously have no idea what good Chinese food is.
Never again
