Charbonada is a restaurant where grilled meat is a speciality. I ordered the mixed grill, which comes with a variety of different sauces. The grill is placed in the middle of the table, and you then cook your own meat. Very nice. Above the table they lower a system to extract the smoke from the grill.
First you are served a mixture of very good tapas together with bread. It is charged on the bill.
The service is excellent and it is a cosy restaurant.
The mixed grill was beef, pork, turkey and a strange suasage, that looked like it came out of as tin. I asked them why they did not serve one of the many excellent sausages produced in Portugal. I also suggested, thast they shoulk serve chicken and lamb cops instead of turkey, which is pretty tasteless.
But altogether a nice meal but pretty expensive.
