My husband and I have just arrived home after a really wonderful, relaxing, luxurious stay in this stunning hotel.

A big thank you to Unman for the upgrade to a Deluxe Palacio Suite which was out of this world!

The Hotel itself is magnificent with its timeless architecture and amazing attention to detail, you really feel you have gone back in time. Then you have the other end of the scale with the ultra modern Banyan Tree Spa which is connected to the hotel via a tunnel.

Banyan Tree has the best spa treatments and facilities I have ever seen, again would highly recommend.

Very surprised how reasonable the food was in the hotel, my husband had a 6 course dinner and I had a 5 course including 2 bottles of wine and this came to under £100.

We never like to go back to the same place twice, but I can honestly say we will be returning!

Thank you to everyone at the Palacio and Banyan Tree

Stayed during March 2014 for a few days. The hotel oozes class throughout. Staff were extremely helpful and very polite. Four Seasons restaurant was terrific and has left me wanting more. The room was tastefully decorated with marble bathroom, and stocked with Molton Brown products - "Very Nice".
Banyan Tree Spa very modern and comfortable. Excellent location, you can even walk to Cascais along the seafront promanade if you are feeling energetic. Will return at the earliest opportunity.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main part of the hotel, overlooking the pool.

Fantastic location, distinguished mainly by absolutely excellent service. Swimming pool and beach at hand. The hotel restaurant is a very good options, but other restaurants are quite close to reach. Good food even at the bar. A paradise for golf lovers. Best place in Estoril.

This is a very nice, old hotel, a true palace! The room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed - i stayed 2 nights and I slept wonderful. The concierge was very nice and helpful - and you can see him in a James Bond Movie, as the hotel was a J.Bond-location for" On Her Majesty's Secret Service". You can eat late in the bar, no problem. On the outside is a beautiful pool. Unfortunately i could not use the spa - so i have to come back! :) And it's only a short walk from the beach, from there you can walk all the way to Cascais (only 30 Minutes).
Only downside point: the WiFi is often disconnecting and you have to connect with passwort etc. againg.

A true 5 star hotel with lovely staff. Our room was lovely and the Spa fantastic after a days golf. A short walk to restaurants and bars was nice and a fantastic casino is on the doorstep. The hotel restaurant was of the highest quality and a great swimming pool outside. Very short walk to the beach and lots of shops and facilities. The hotels biggest asset is it staff. I have never been made so welcome anywhere in the world. I have booked to go back again in November this year and would also like to take the family.

Room Tip: A room overlooking the gardens and swimming pool if you can get it.
