The food in this cafe/restaurant is nothing special. The little extras are very expensive and can be purchased in Cascais for a third of the price. The staff are welcoming but be aware of their up selling skills. Bread etc is automatically placed on tables with guests unaware that these will add at least 12 euros to the bill. A scoop of ice cream will add 3.50 to the price of your desert. A very small potion of chips will cost you 3.25 euros these are available at half the price across the park.
The sangria is terrible. It is cheaper and you will find much better quality food if you take a taxi or the train into Cascais. Nice staff shame about the food. For a reasonable lunch time snack for excellent value try the bar around the corner.

First class friendly service in this small restaurant. Food verygood. Does not look much from the outside but venture in and you will not regret it. In same ownership as Pintos 2 across the park but avoid it as slow service and meals not arriving together

After waiting 1,5h only half our table of six got their food. The other half of the order never reached the kitchen. I don't even want to get into what happened to the drinks order of 1 beer, 1/2 bottle of wine, 2 colas and a bottle of water. Apperently it was too much for the waiter to handle since he had to confirm it 6 (six!) times. The food that eventually was served wasn't very good, pretty bad actually - shewy garlic shrimps and cold pizzas.
There are plenty of good restaurants in the area, so there's no reason to choose this one.

The service started our decent but was not satisfactory and our waiter was rather creepy and kept talking which really annoyed some of the people I was with. The dish I ordered was tasty – Dorade fish from the grill, but someone else ordered the lasagna and this person love food and is not a picky eater, but put down her fork after two bits. It tasted like medal; something about it was not right. Our waiter was not offended and not amused and avoided our table after that. Poor customer service.

I usually test restaurants in different countries by ordering seafood risotto. Pinto´s Restaurant served an excelent italian style seafood risotto with lots of lobster in the beginning of July 2013. Just try!
