“... if just for the jazz”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2012 via mobile

Pizzas are very nice, although there is only one wine to choose from.. service can be very slow, atmosphere is fine, sort of cozy, however the special thing, if you are in to it, are the live jazz jam sessions on Wednesday evenings

“Average JUST for the food...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

My title says all: Average just for the food.
To start this place so called "Pizzaria" is on a one way street and it's almost impossible to park, even in the surrounding area. Just have a small light sign on the street because the restaurant is below a building and to get there you need to cross a dark and spooky dark path.
When you see the door (see my photo) the name is graffiti on the top of the door (is this Italian?!), and you get in (I've no photos of the inside because the owner didn't allow me to take!!) you find a mix of different decors that shows that that place have been a lot of things, because even have a mirrow ball on the cealing... Inside there's NOTHING to show that you're in a so called Pizzaria or Italian Restaurant.
It's a shame because the food is very, very good... One of the best in Lisbon area. I had a nice shrimp and hot sauce pizza and my wife had a calzone. Price of the food is in line for a place like this, but the price of the drinks is very high!!
Shame on charging €1.50 for a bottle of water that have the brand and can be bought on low cost supermarket for less than €0.20!
If they drop the drinks i would return, ONLY if i has in the area.

“On the verge of closing down”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2012 via mobile

We ate here as it was close to our hotel, firstly it's difficult to find and looks closed from outside, we were the only people in there and it felt if the place was closing down, at the bar the optic were all but empty, the menu restricted and no deserts available, they were out of diet coke and when the bill gone could only take cash, I'd be amazed if this place sees out the summer, on a positive the waiter could not have been more helpful and pleasant
