we could not have asked for more on a windy autumn afternoon. after a magnificent walk in praia da ursa with my family, we stopped in Azóia to look for a restaurant. luckily we chose Pão de Trigo! we were welcomed by a delicious looking 'bacalhau' in the grill and a cosy room heated by a firewood place. rustic decor but not excessive... we started with well seasoned olives and good bread (from the region I think!), followed by soup - quite good my 'caldo verde'! but the best was undoubtably the 'wild boar stew'... the meat melt in our mouthes leaving our papillae crazy with the flavour! the dish was good for two with the soup. loved it and recommend it to everybody. my daughter was enchanted by the fire :o) and the waiters were efficient and friendly. I will go back!!
