“Wow, what a hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2013

We just picked the hotel on spec, as we were driving past, and had a most amazing experience. The staff were so efficient and informative, the checkin experience a delight rather than a drag. The bar area is so relaxing after a long day, looking out over the huge pool and beyond to the sea.
For some reason we were upgraded to a suite, which was huge, many rooms with lots of lights, space and different aspects to look out on.
We went to the restaurant quite late (they open till 10:30) and the food and wines were excellent, with the helpings for mains a little on the small side, which suited us. The quality and choice were excellent.
The king sized bed was super comfortable and the room was very quiet.
Wonderful stay, so glad we spoiled ourselves.

Room Tip: They have rooms with sea views, but I felt no need for this.

What more can be written about this wonderful hotel, as all the reviews previously posted this is more then a hotel this is an experience.
From the moment you check in you are treated as very special, all of the staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable.
The design of the hotel ensures your stay is relaxing, from the lovely pool to the terrace area above it with a wonderful view of the sea.
I stayed with my wife and 13 year old son and we will be back as soon as we can where we know we can look forward to another holiday where the service is first class and every member of staff is so helpful and friendly.

.

Room Tip: There are a lot of rooms with balconies overlooking the pool and the sea, but don`t worry as we had...

We stayed here over the weekend and it was surely to short time! The whole hotel is fantastic and every part is very tasteful! We stayed in a very large Executive room with a sea view and enjoyed every second of it! Comfortable beds and a large bathroom with everything you need.
All the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had lunch and dinner and were very satisfied with that too. We will definately return to this amazing place!

Room Tip: Executive room had two large sunbeds on the balcony!

Visited during the off-season and was lovely. I am gluten-free and the restaurant at breakfast went out of their way to accommodate with no previous knowledge of my need of gluten-free. The rooms are excellent - clean, comfortable and excellent views. The spa is amazing. Had a hot stone massage and went into the pools. Highly recommended for a relaxation session. It's easy to get to Lisbon on the train and cheap. Would highly recommend staying here and travelling in and out of Lisbon. Cascais is a great place to wander around the seaside and has delicious food! For gluten free people, if you explain the intolerance or allergy, the restaurants are great, if you like fresh fish and veg.

We went on a trip to the hotel last November ,out of season and I have to say from the moment we arrived to the hotel the level of service was excellent nothing was to much trouble. The room decoration was beautiful with sea views, Cascais it self it lovely old world charm and not too far from Lisbon ,public transport very cheap.
We had half board every evening the meals cooked in front of us by the chef to all our tastes buds and the waiting staff were very pleasant and very attentive.
Breakfast was excellent, full of choice and even champange on offer to guests.
My partner requested to learn how to suba dive and the girl at reception arranged everything for him and even let us use the hotel pool so impressed did a 3 day course.
Lovely hotel if you want to relax in luxury surroundings right on the sea front.
We even booked another sister hotel in Portugal for the family trip as we loved this chain of hotels.
Diffinatlely can't wait to return in the new season.

Room Tip: sea view with pool views on a high floor

Based on a recommendation from friends who have returned to this hotel year-after-year, we decided to book our first Portugal vacation at this hotel. And we are glad we did. Besides being in a picturesque location, the hotel experience was extraordinary. The food, the rooms, the spa all are first class, but perhaps the most incredible feature of this hotel is it's staff. From the front desk to the Spa, to the wait staff and the bellman, everyone was truly wonderful and willing to help in any way possible. We can't wait to return to this lovely hotel.

this hotel is a slice of heaven. The facility itself is stunning, and it overlooks the Atlantic. The rooms are exquisite and the staff couldn't have been more accomodating. The food was wonderful. This is by far the nicest place on the Atlantic Coast. Don't miss it!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with an ocean view. Amazing!
