“the fabulous miragem”
Reviewed April 8, 2012

We spent our honeymoon in this fabulous hotel in june 2011..
It was an experience we would never forget !
This hotel was the most beautiful hotel we ever stayed in ...
We had a wonderwul time and we'd like to thank everybody involved in the management of this hotel...
The room was very big ,spacious ,clean and had everything we wanted...The balcony had a view towards the pool situated on the first floor and the ocean.
The breakfast was delicious, buffet and the dinner was a la carte...
The pool was a little bit cold but we liked it anyways ...
We would like to come back anytime.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in February as part of a trip with other people. The hotel is beautiful in a good location overlooking the sea. Our room was well appointed and comfortable, our only critcism was that the rooms became very hot - they are a bit 'gold fish bowl' because of all the glass. There is a train line near the hotel so you do get some train noise but we didn't find it intrusive. The common areas are very attractive with lots of open space and modern art. If you want to keep fit there is a Holmes Place gym attached to the hotel next door. I did go once, but it was unbelievably hot and I couldn't stand it for very long. Also the quality of the machines is quite poor - I was disappointed and expected more from a Holmes Place. Friends used the pool ad said that was good but I didn't use it myself.

Overall, a very comfortable, modern luxury hotel. Recommended

Room Tip: If you want a sea view I would aim for a room on a higher floor to avoid train noise.

The rooms are large. A generous balcony with a sea view. Helpful staff. To move from the hotel you need to take a taxi or walk 20-30 min to the village of Cascais.

Magificent lobby. Nicely appointed rooms.
Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony and from the lounge on 6th floor.

I stayed for 3 nights in Miragem attending a conference (it is the third time in 5 year), It is a very nice hotel, with spacious rooms and facilities with attention to details. The staff is polite and speaks good English. The food was average (at most) but this may have to do with the organiser choices. At 160 euro per night I consider it a good choice.

Room Tip: Sea view of course!!

Very comfortable and luxurious even to this jaded traveller's eyes.

Great views, nice facilities, comfortable rooms.

Food was generally buffets and I'd definitely seen enough coleslaw by the end of the week but it was ok.

Travel to and from the airport, over 6 lane highways in both direction with no traffic makes you realise where all the EU money went....
