We had been to Cascais before but never made it to here and can't believe we didn't make the effort. Absolutely fanstastic got to be seen to be believed. Go.

Walk from the sea front to the right and up the hill to the right and you will come across a restaurant cut into the cliff. It looks a bit cafe style with plastic chairs but don't be fooled. Really great fish - have the seafood kebab and the great thing is wine is only €8 and thats for the more expensive bottle and tastes great. We came over for the Optimus alive festival in Alges and can't wait for next year. This restaurant will be the 1st on our list.

The children loved climbing the rocks, however it is a little run down with grafitti, and also broken guard rales etc.

It is good as a stop off for an hour or so, we stoppd on our way into cascais from Guia before heading to the beach and the hour we spent was long enough.

The sea was quite calm on our visit, so nothign spectacular to see. However i would highly recommend the hot dog van a little walk down from Boca, away from Cascais - very tatsy

We went on a calm day so not as spectacular as expected but sure would be great when the sea is a bit rougher.

worth a sight if you are in the area - for this July visit the tide was calm, so not much of a sea spray. Definitely pretty but the path to the sea was strewn with litter and grafitti - so not that great. A 5 minute pit stop to say "I was there"
