The Boca (= mouth of hell) is Cascais' main tourist sight, with a couple of overpriced eating places and even a market (clothing, etc.) although its location is pretty suburban. Just walk past all this stuff and enjoy looking down at the sea, either inside the 'mouth' it has carved out, or on the side facing the sea. Ideally, choose a wild day. It's fun! (All that said: if you walk from the Boca, away from town, past Guia and Cabo Raso towards Guincho, you will find plenty of wild seashore with other inlets where you can feel the sea resonating right under your feet.)

I like the rocky coasline here. We have been here several times, the most beautiful it is in early April, when beautiful lila flowers are all around as well. Our wedding pictures were taken here as well.

The view is breathtaking. It remains a special place for my father, my brother and grandfather after all these years. I still take people to visit this sight. Recently, I visited this site with my Amercian cousin and aunt, and it was delightful place to sit for coffee, tea, and sweets, and look out at the formations of the rocks.

Sea was relatively calm and winds low so nothing to see. Enjoyed the walk. Pick a day with appropriate weather

Go on a windy day or when the weather is not so good to get the most from this place, the rougher the sea the more impressive it is.
