I took an elderly relative to visit this museum, but we had to cut short our visit because it was impossible to get round on account of a badly behaved school visit. Not only were the children extremely noisy, but it was impossible to get beyond the first room because they were seated on the floor at the entrance to the next room, completely blocking all access. We waited for a while, in full view of staff, but no-one made any effort to let us pass, so in the end, we turned round and left. I appreciate that a museum is a good place for a school outing, but staff and teachers have to make some effort to ensure that members of the public visiting at the same time do not have their visit completely disrupted. It was also disappointing that the man on the reception desk neither greeted us nor smiled when we arrived.
