Description: Restaurant Stanislav came from Russia in 2002, to be launched in Monte Estoril and after 5 years in the heart of Cascais in Portugal. Here everything is made to make the customer feel comfortable and satisfied in a cozy and pleasant atmosphere.Among many dishes, we highlight the typical eggplant stuffed with typical cheese, schuba salad (herring and boiled vegetables), golobsi (cabbage with minced meat and rice) and of course the famous chicken Kiev (secret family recipe). To drink we recommend you the finest vodka from Russia and Ukraine. Looking forward to tell you "Na zdorovie"!

We were suprised by this Russian restaurant in Portugal. The food is truly amazing, ambiance is great, service is good. Only thing is that it is not easy to find, but once found, you'll be glad you've looked for it.

First of all, I must repeat the directions given by another reviewer, so that you can find the restaurant; find the Fogo de Chao, enter the building door, and go upstairs -- that's where you'll find the restaurant. If we hasn't asked directions I'm not sure we (the wife and I) would have thought to search inside the building. There was no exterior sign that we noticed! BTW, it's only about two or three blocks from the train station, going approximately west.

But the good part is that the food was really 5-star. First we shared a borscht; very good, with lots of 'stuff' in it. Next was the eggplant starter. OMG. That... was... incredible! The menu says there's garlic in it, but it's perfectly hidden in some mayonnaise-tasting component, along with a Russian cheese (shredded) and a tomato.

For our main course we each had a stroganoff -- hers was shrimp stroganoff and mine beef stroganoff. Delicious. The beef was typical of most European beef, so not tenderloin, but it was so good! Dessert was the stuffed prunes -- another winner.

Service was attentive, and prices were very reasonable!

I will stop here every trip to Lisbon!

The restaurant was not very easy to find, it is located on the first floor of the Visconte da Luz building. The food was fantastic: we shared Beringelas as a starter and then had Frango a Kiev and Vareniki com batata, as a dessert we chose Bolo Napoleao. Everything was delicious and the waitress was very kind and suggested us the best plates.

Trying to find the restaurant was a bit of a challenge at first by foot but after we walked the google guy around on google maps we figured out that the place is hidden inside the building. After you walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor you enter a boutique style restaurant that transports you into a homey and cozy environment. The decor is so warm and the food, well that is the reason we were there. We were beyond delighted with the presentation and taste of our entrees. The staff was friendly and very helpful. To start off our evening, we had the Cerveja Russia and vodka with orange juice. We started with the Salada “Schuba” and Beringelas recheadas com queijo e alho, followed by the Strogonoff Camarao, Pelmeni and Frango Kiev.....For dessert our son had the Blini Crepe with Nutella and my husband and I shared the Bolo Napoleao. The food and atmosphere were perfect!! We will be going back!
