“best steakhouse in Portugal”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

quirky environment, really friendly staff, really wonderful steak and shrimps; it's a bit off the beaten track but a short, five euro taxi ride from the centre and well worth it. Great value too.

“Different and Delicious!”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

Having read the reviews online we decided to try this restaurant. We took a taxi as it is out of the main centre but only 5 minutes out - in a residential area so the location was unusual! It is run by a son and mother (who is the chef) and it is a very small space but very quirky. The food was excellent, perfectly cooked from scratch and the flavours were excellent - we had the fish and steak and very happy with both. We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to go somewhere a little different.

“Golf trip at Cascais”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

This small restaurant was very good, family owned place, mother in the kitchen and son serving. Meat was excellent and pricelevel fine for families as well. I'm going there sure on next trip to Cascais.

“Cute, cosy and crowded”
Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

Cute because it is one of very vew eating places in the region that has been purposefully decorated, even though it has lost a lot of its artefacts in the last few years, due no doubt to meddling health and safety officials. Cosy because there is atmosphere from A to Zee. Crowded because of its size, back to back seating and its popularity. Over the past years we have been regular customers with kids, familly, friends and even as a lonely couple. All the plusses mentioned in other reviews are true assessments. Negatives are to be taken with a grain, bag or wagenload of salt or may be grinding axes. See for yourselves, take a group of friends and enjoy yourselves. Strong chances are you won't regret.

“Very different!”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

We choose this restaurant on Tripadvisor as it had good reviews. This restaurant is a little bit out of the centre of Cascais. You would drive past it, if you didn't have the address.
The place is very small with just a few tables and around you are all kinds of items, like clocks, irons, watches, lamps, etc. Very different.
The food we ordered was delicious and served on a roof tile. The waiter was very friendly.
If you want something different and not too expensive, go here!
