We were expecting something special and by and large the hotel delivered, though there was a little bit of an out of season feel to proceedings. A bit like they were more concerned with next week's guests. The room was OK, but not as special as in pictures. Air conditioning too loud for comfort. Quite dark in the room in the evening. Views were as spectacular as promised. Breakfast was very good, but not brilliant. We were there four nights but did not use their restaurant for an evening meal. Cascais has many appealing restaurants and we preferred to enjoy the variety. It is well placed for an early morning run, when the coastal path to Guincho and beyond is deserted in March. On our last morning we were entertained by preparation for a film shoot by the sea wall outside the breakfast room.
