Beautiful studio, nice pool area, really nice bakery in the park but also a child care center next to our studio (nr. 8004) This means a lot of noise from little children, starting early in the morning, this until the evening. Rice and shine! This is not where you are looking for on a holliday!

Room Tip: Look on the fact sheet of vila bicuda, at number 9 is a child care center, stay away from that ar...

We are here at moment villa 97 . It is like having a second home. Can't fault anything. We always go for a duplex and enjoy the facilities. Service is excellent and our needs are always met with immediate attention. Wishing our holidays will never end. We do rent a car as not far to go to Lisbon and other surrounding areas.

It is not exactly a hotel, but a development with some vilas and studios (a few) for renting. But it has many services, and we did not missed anything. We stayed in a studio, with a fully equiped kitchen including a dishwasher (but no washing machine). The room size was good, in the room, in the bathroom and in the kitchen. Furniture is from IKEA, and the general impression of the decoration is a bit simple. It has an individual heater, that did not work very well (or I did not understand how to use it) and taking a shower was not always a pleasure. The area is large and it counts with two pools. The one closer to our studio was large with a good part for children. No problem to get a sunbed. The resort counts with a small supermarket but with a good provision. As well you may find a cafeteria, restaurant, laundry, and many other facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As I mentioned, we stayed in a studio, but the vilas have a very good looking, I would have liked trying one... About the location, it is ok if you have your own car (we had). The area is very quiet, and if you like golfing, there are golf courses very close.

Room Tip: Our room, 8004, was close to the playgroup and it was very noisy in the morning. Not a problem if yo...

Good afternoon,
First of all we would like to thank you for your choice.
We would also like to mention that the furniture is not Ikea, but just a few small touches of decor, we had to replace the original parts, since for us it is very important the maintanance and comfort of our villas.
As for individual heating, we would advise that next time, you contact the Reception, because our Housekeeper would be happy to assist you.
The Maintenance Department also could have helped in the matter of the bath if there was a problem to be solved.
We saw that overall you liked your stay and hope to welcome you again at the next opportunity.
With our best regards,

We stayed in a Villa for a week in June and it was great. Vilas with two bedrooms are very spacious. It has a great bakery which offers really nice breads and cakes at very reasonable price. The pool was nice and big, really clean and well kept. Only thing is that it's a bit too far out from Cascais. You couldn't walk into it and would definitely need to get a taxi to and from Casicas. It's an ideal place to stay for families and apart from the location being a bit out everything else was faultless.

We booked this vila in 2013 for ourselves (two adults and two children) despite some adverse comments on Tripadvisor. When we arrived we were met by the owner who showed us the vila. On entering the property there was a distinct smell of must. The furniture was out dated and the décor seemed to be from another century. It appeared as if the property had not been occupied for some time. Despite this the owner was at pains to advise to the contrary. We pointed out to him several concerns we had, ie. the smell, mildew on the couch cover, a severe crack in the washing machine door glass, a faulty lock on the patio door, lack of security in the back and the obvious impression that the property was not very well maintained. In addition, the bedclothes and towels were certainly not new and had a distinct look of over use. Despite his laisez faire attitude the owner assured us that he would have the apartment cleaned, bedclothes and towels replaced and the lock on the patio door fixed by the following morning. My husband met with the owner the following morning and nothing had changed. My husband told the owner that we would not be staying and requested a refund of our deposit. The owner refused and became quite obstreperous. My husband offered to settle for a refund of half of the deposit however the owner refused, threatened legal action and became abusive. My husband left. As a result, we had to forfeit our deposit of €400, book a hotel for the following four nights and an apartment for the remaining six nights at some considerable expense. My advise to anyone thinking of booking this "vila" is not to. In fact, avoid at all costs!!!

Dear Sirs,
We would like to clarify that Villa Number 6 does not belong to Vila Bicuda Villas Resort.
Villa Number 6 belongs to a Private Owner and it is located in the Condominium where Vila Bicuda Villas Resort, is also located.
We would like to alert that these private villas don't have hotel service, the one provided by our Resort, in our Villas.
Our hotel service is one of the things that distinguish us from the Private Owner villas.
Besides all this, being a Hotel, all our Term & Conditions are accessible to clients before their booking, so they are aware of all their rights, without unpleasant surprises during their stay.
To complete our alert, we would like to note that Vila Bicuda Villas Resort has noticed that certain rental ads of Private Houses have photos with the exclusive use of our Resort, which may mislead any customer thinking that they are booking a Villa in the Hotel, when they are booking a Private Owner Villa.
Please don't hesitate to contact Vila Bicuda Villas Resort, if you have any further question.
We remain at your entire disposal.
With our very best regards,
Sales Manager

We enjoyed a relaxing few days here, it is a great base from which to explore the sights of Sintra and Lisbon. The rooms are well equipped and very clean and the facilities in the resort are good.

It is a little way out of Cascais, a 5 minute drive. Taxis and regular and reasonably priced approx 5 Euros.

Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay

2nd visit to villa bicuda, still as nice if not better than 4 years ago, stayed for a 4 night break had a studio villa very close to reception and shops, didn't get disturbed by noise at all from the shops etc, the bakery has a great choice of cakes and rolls and the fresh bread is great each morning, the small convenience shop has most things needed but everything is in Portuguese, so a bit tricky if after something ie. smoked or un-smoked, good tip download Google translator onto iPhone before hand problem solved. didn't use restaurant so cant advise on that. reception very helpful, villa has a safe but you need to get the lock and key from reception free of charge, unless you lose the key. room cleaned and clean towels given each day. its a 5km walk into cascais Marina about an easy 50-60 min walk turn left outside Bicuda entrance keep following road until you get to junction where you can see Lidel down the road to your left, go down that road straight to sea front then turn left nice stroll along prom into town. Nice 5* hotel the Farol on front overlooking sea, nice for a stop and refreshment on way.
