We were in Cascais for 3 nights and could not have had a better place to stay. The house was fantastic, gardens an absolute pleasure to relax in, staff excellent and the location perfect for town and beach.
The early evening glass of port provided by the hotel was a great way to begin each night.
We also enjoyed watching passers-by gazing longingly or taking photos of the beautiful house .
An artist painting this unique building simply added to the special feeling of Casa Pergola.
It was a short break to be remembered and a hotel we will never forget.
We look forward to our next visit.
Thank you all at Casa Pergola. Mary and Pat

A beautiful house with wonderful staff right in the centre of Cascais town - Pergola House has captured our hearts. Two minutes from train station, three minutes from beaches - location is perfect. A genteel oasis it is difficult to believe you are right in the centre of town. Breakfast is delicious. We highly recommend this accommodation and are looking forward to returning soon.

Unbelievable ! Magnificent ! Fantastic Property. Takes your breath away. Service is brilliant. Breakfast is very nice, especially seated outside in a courtyard surrounded by lovely colourful plants. It's idyllic. Most passers by take photo pictures of the setting from the street. Accomodation is spacious. There are only 2 balcony suites. Try to book these first, but all rooms are nice.
Positioned absolutely central in Cascais and only 100 metres from the railway station. Finally, besides serving afternoon tea, you can obtain wine as well. 1/2 bottle red or white only 3 euros!!!
Comes with bowl of peanuts as well. Port is available as an aperitif at 6 pm onwards ex gratia !
It's really a Bed and Breakfast, but in reality you are looked after 24/7.
We come from Cheshire and also live 5months a year in the Algarve. Both aged 67 and very active
Ideal for the over 50's but everone will like this place. Generally cannot be bothered to write comments, but this place deserves a mention-- bang goes my little secret now.

Beautiful little property, delicious breakfast, portvine is served in the evening in the garden, very friendly and helpfull staff. Only minus is som traffic noise in the early morning from the shopping street outside- it has all in all very little traffic. Highly recommended place to stay!

Old family owned B&B with antique furnishing and magical atmosphere. Very friendly and service minded staff. One night stay in the Green Room, very nicely decorated and furnished, charming bathroom with bath tub. The only minus was that the extra bed for our son was not comfortable. The sitting room full of atmosphere, centuries of wisdom and pride, like a visit 100 years back in time!

Enjoyed the free late afternoon port wine at the terrace. Dinner was served - for us only - at the terrace with views to the small, green, lush and very charming garden. Dinner was excellent, tasty and very attractively priced. Breakfast buffet excellent quality and tasty with lots of fresh fruit etc.

Parking options: Public parking house at the railway station 5 min walk away. Ask for detailed instructions and directions to parking before arrival as the local traffic situation is quite chaotic.

If you look for local, authentic Portuguese alternatives to the excellent and high value-for-money dinner at the B&B, then the area around Rua Alfonso Sanchez seems to be an interesting restaurant area to explore.
