We stayed only one night, and we regret it, since we could not enjoy the place at full! The house is simply beautiful, from the facade covered with bouganville and the garden, to the rooms and common places. We had a room with the balcony, with nice view on the garden, and everything was nice and working, despite the age of the building. Everyone in the staff was kind and efficient. Only one remark: there is no parking available, and in high season (as now in August) you have to be lucky to find a public parking spot, for which you will have to pay with parkmeters.

Room Tip: Room with balcony are very nice, but as far as i know, they may have twin beds only

Cascais is a good base for visiting downtown Lisbon, the Sintra palaces and Estoril beaches.
And Casa da Pergola has maintained it's excellent standards for many years: unobtrusive and impeccable service, real antiques and XIX Century Portuguese art in a traditional decor, comfortable rooms and a port on arrival by the bougainvilleas in the garden.
Breakfast in the lovely garden is also memorable. Perfect!

Room Tip: 2nd Floor rooms are cooler in the Summer.

We are just back from a 3 night stay in the wonderful Pergola B&B
Service was really fantastic, quiet, friendly old fashioned high level of service
Location perfect,2minutes from wide range of restaurants and bars
Queens beach very close, great to spend relaxing day on the beach - hire beds and umbrella and drink cocktails from the little bar down on the beach!
Breakfast was basic but perfect - delicious fresh fruit platters every morning
Little pricey for b&b but well worth it
Def would return and highly recommend
Stayed in room 25,which was fabulous! Over looking beautiful garden.friends in 20 found little noisy - but might just have been next door!
