Absolutely loved the food at Ponto Verde in Alcabideche, we had 3 dinners there this week. My mother lives in Estoril and always knows the best local restaurants and this is her best discovery yet, we started going 3 years ago and the level of food is always excellent. We ate fresh fish (robalo) grilled on the barbecue, a dressed crab, black pork steaks and very small fried fish (carapauzinhos) all to die for. The house white wine is great value, nice indoor area (simple but very portuguese and authentic) and outside they have a large child friendly garden and terrace to eat outside. Staff are friendly and very good at suggestions. Its not a touristy place so not for the Macdonalds crowd, but waiters are friendly with foreigners and its actually where a loyal crowd of expat golfers living in Cascais go to all the time for lunch and dinner.
