My wife and I went with our Son (15) and daughter (18). The building from the outide looks uninspiring looking more like a corporate HQ than a hotel. Having said that, once you get inside things improve markedly. For starters the reception staff and indeed all of the staff are exceedingly polite and helpful - nothing is too much trouble.
The interior is what you might call minimalistic making use of the vast space however it isnt a cold feel. The rooms are fantastic, provided you arent a prude. There is no actual bathroom/toilet - they are in the room itself and only limitedl privacy is provided. But it shouldnt put you off. The room and all the equipment is bang up to date with I pod docking stations ,plasma televisions , fantastic showers and baths. However the star of the show is the bed - the softest most luxurious bed you could hope for with beautiful sheets and pillows
Outside of the hotel a trip to Cascais is only 6 euros, however with the golf course and the two pools (one inside one out) and a spa there is plenty to do.
The only thing that stops this being excellent are the restaurants. Breakfast is brilliant with all you could ask for laid out for you. You do have to ask if you want eggs in any shape but there is no problem they will provide them for you. Lunch and dinner will cost you an arm and a leg if you have a family. The food is excellent - no doubt about that - but at lunch time you want something snacky. We think that they should have a much better selection of food aimed at people with families - and why no ice cream? Fortuneately with Cascais and its hundreds of restaurants being so close its not a problem to eat out and its a lot cheaper even with a taxi fare each way
We would go back but probably just as a couple

Room Tip: Not a bad room in the entire Hotel

This hotel was really spectacular. The view of the Atlantic from your balcony and the infinity pool. The rooms are huge, almost the size of a small condo back home. Staff was very nice. The free WiFi was a real treat for my son to play on his ipod. This is a great location, very close to Lisbon. The setting is very peaceful. Up the road towards Guincho (approximately 4 km), you must try the seafood cataplana at Meste Zé. I am still dreaming about it. It is made like no other cataplana I have had. In a creamy broth, and over rice, it is truly to die for.

I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

We were looking for a 4 night break where the bedroom and location/aspect were our main priority. I wanted a modern clean contemporary or funky hotel where my husband and I would truely enjoy a break from the animals and kids. And, wow we got it in spades.
Arriving you are taken aback by the airport style architecture, but it is only 4 stories high and the layout is excellent if you like space and open plan. All glass and pale blue vynal floors and cielings so it should feel clinical and sterile but there is this amazing sense of freedom and calm about the place that perhaps this uncluttered environment creates. Just what we were looking for. You feel like you're walking on sunshine.
The bedroom was a wow factor must have. Again all pale blue white and lots of glass. Huge room with massive windows, light and spacious. The bed with its mirrored wall behind/headboard was outrageous and soooo comfy.
Breakfast was great and so much on offer that you didn't need to order extras although my husband did order an omlette one morning that came so quickly he wasn't quite ready for it yet.
Drinks were great and reasonably priced both in the restaurant and the pool area. You do need to order the drinks from the pool bar in person but then they bring them to your sunbed which works quickly and effectively.
Food in the restaurant was fantastic although its a bit hit and miss whether you actually get what you ask for. The staff were brilliant, friendly and very helpful and couldn't appologise enough if they got it wrong, so our strategy changed and we pointed to our required dish on the menu rather than saying it which seemed to overcome the problem but wasn't nearly as entertaining after a few glasses of the local bear. And you rarely got charged for what you'd ordered so the bills were excellent value.
Activities: the pool was superb and exceptionally clean as was everywhere, the mountain bike brilliant top notch bikes and only 10 euros for the whole day, the equestrian centre a 5 minute cycle ride through the very posh golf area gave us the moust lovely 2 hour hack through the mountains and down onto the beach, and finally the day was topped off by a snowball wrestle outside the sauna from the snow machine, I kid you not.
An excellent hotel for active people who want to play hard and relax with no screeming kids.

Room Tip: Superia has sea view from the bed and a west facing massive balcony to watch the sun go down from.

The hotel is brand new so the grounds are still bedding in, but the interiors are impressive. The place is cavernous, almost like an airport inside, and the corridors are ridiculously wide, however the rooms are very spacious. The showers and bath are well designed and there is plenty of light and space. I'm sure most rooms have a view of the sea and golf course so it's certainly very attractive sat on your balcony. The breakfast was excellent with friendly staff to assist, the fresh fruits very enjoyable. Apparently the golf course is excellent and you'll need to think about transport but otherwise there's little to criticise about this hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently, hotel is very modern and the rooms are great, great iPod gadgets etc and great beds.

The Big problem this hotel is it's service. The staff at breakfast and by the pool just have no idea what they are doing. You do not get anywhere near 5 star service at any point.

Each morning at breakfast (4 mornings) was a disaster. All we ever asked for were fried eggs and a coffee and tea. Each morning they either forgot our order or mixed it up. I have never seen such chaos, the staff would then be quite rude when we told them that they made mistakes or that we were waiting 20 minutes for coffee and fried eggs.

We never ate in either restaurant because of the terrible experiences we had at the pool and at breakfast.

It really is a lack of good management, but some of the staff do make you feel uncomfortable. This is just totally unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. You have been warned.........
