This is a very nice place to go for pizza. The main dishes and salads and also really good but i would say the pizzas are the best thing they have. The pizza bread is thin and the ingredients quality and combination is also good. The service tends to be a bit slow, so call the servant when you need something to avoid getting annoyed. In the evening low light may be a problem as the talbes are candle lit...it is s bit more romantic... The chairs could be more comfortable. Despite these disadvantages I keep going there quite often.

I sense that many of your reviewers have much higher expectations than this modest coastal cafe is capable of providing. It is set in the grounds of a Manor House, now converted into a walk-through shopping centre, selling arts and crafts. There is a really excellent view of the coast from the garden where we ate on a mild January day. There is an absence of piped music......hurrah ! We were served a generous portions of high quality gravadlax, accompanied by freshly prepared salads, and rustic bread. We enjoyed this with a cool bottle of sparkling water. One does not expect grande cuisine at this level, but what we did have was a welcome break in quite comfortable surroundings, and that is what we were seeking. Perhaps your other reviewers expected the experience which we too have enjoyed in **** restaurants in London and Paris. If so wrong place, wrong time and wrong people. We shall return and urge you to go to Garbos for the rustic Swedish experience

Garbo is not if you want a gourmet experience. But it is a VERY nice place for a light meal, and to enjoy the view and athmospher ein Casa de Guia.
You have to expect to wait a bit, and to be patient, but it is worth it..
My favourit is the herrings with an aquavit (S.O.S) but their pizza is also very good..

We have eaten in this restaurant on several occasions, most recently in October 2011. Great outdoor area with views over the ocean, or eat indoors in a cosy atmosphere when it's raining. Try their pizzas, the make the best thin crust pizzas in Cascais.
Great also for enjoying cocktails and sunsets.

Situated in a beautiful area but service and cuisine is outright disgusting. Never again will I bring any clients there.
