Forgot to take pictures when the plates were full but fantastic lunch! Such a great little find about 50 m from the Se Velhas church - just past the steps down to the more touristy areas for lunch. It is small but amazing service and the lovely chef can be heard singing beautifully along with the radio as she makes magic in the tiny kitchen! We had the stuffed mushroom with ham and the pork with egg and potatoes - simple yet so delicious! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and visit for an amazing meal!

We were walking around Coimbra very hungry actually.. And found randomly this cozy little restaurant! The best find we had! Best traditional Portuguese food! Everything was perfect including the service..Portuguese people in general are very friendly and they treat you like if you are at home! Very recommended place!. It is also situated in one of the little streets up the hill which makes you feel you are eating real Portuguese food at a real Portuguese street jeje! Keep going with the good work guys! :)

Great location near the Cathedral. Small restaurant with some outdoor seating. Delicious vegetation options. Expect friendly but not necessarily fast service. Relax and have another glass of the best sangria in town.

Plenty of vegetarian options, lovely location. Warm welcoming service and if you’re lucky Maria will be singing away in the kitchen while she cooks up a storm.

Small café that offers a variety of local dishes and friendly service. The server made few recommendations and also was accommodating in customizing dishes for some of our picky eaters. We had pasta, sausage platter, cod cake stuffed in portabella type mushroom – everything was delicious and the cod was the most interesting we’ve tried so far. Very reasonably priced. The chef came out to talk to us a bit, which was nice and felt more personal.
