We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Oslo and had a great experience.
PROS
The location (right next to the train station and 8-10 minutes' walking to the historical center) is perfect. The staff is REALLY friendly. The rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. The breakfast buffet (served by staff because of COVID) had a good variety and tasted great.
CONS
The room decor is a little outdated, but not a problem.
We stayed just one night in Coimbra. The hotel is in a great location and the free parking is a great bonus. The rooms are modern and very clean. The rooftop is alone a great reason to book this hotel - great views in the early evening. The staff were very helpful and the young guy at reception was very good at informing us on what we could do. The breakfast was organized very well in times of COVID-19. Would recommend this hotel.
Beautiful rooftop bar and super friendly staff! They allowed us to leave our luggages there , even if we didn’t stay there that night. Clean, in the city center , very close to the old town, bus and train station.
Great hotel. Very welcoming staff, clean rooms with great services: very good breakfast, rooftop with great view and bar service on the below floor, free parking close to the hotel (30m), free wifi. We were with 3 kids and the baby crib was available when we arrived. Near to restaurants and sights. I recommend!
Well located with walking distance of the old downtown Coimbra, reasonably decorated, but very very very noisy, it's on a main road and the is no good soundproofing on the windows; Rooftop bar with amazing views that I didn't use has there was no one to serve us....many people sat and waited for a service that never happened, bad...too expensive for what it offers.
We did not stay in the hotel, but we were allowed to store our luggage without additional costs for the day and use the toilet. They were very friendly, and the rooftop terrace has an incredible view over the city.
