This was a true experience to stay here. Our room was incredibly decorated and quite unique. We were greeted with an incredibly nice staff. We were offered a snack and beverage upon entering our room. Our shower could have held 8 people it was so big and totally updated, with perfect water pressure. The toilet, however, if you're a big person, you will have a tight squeeze. The window opened up over Coimbra with a beautiful view. We left it open all night. I thought it would be terribly noisy, but it wasn't. The decor was absolutely stunning. The bed was perfectly firm and we had at least 10 channels that spoke English on our tv at the foot of the bed. We drove so we found parking at the foot of the hill in a parking garage. These parking facilities can often times be full. If you have the patience, a spot will soon open up. Our breakfast came to our room at the time we requested in a cute picnic basket. It was such a lovely touch. I loved staying here. It was a wonderful experience.

Loved our stay - close to everything, beautiful furnishings, excellent service and lovely breakfast. Lots of steps, small rooms but part of the charm! Prepare to climb lots of hills but if you staying for a few days then use the elevator near the hotel or take an Uber if don’t want to walk up the hill to get home!

We organised our staying and friends/ family to stay over our wedding weekend. Booking all the rooms! The service, the hotel, the atmosphere was beyond our expectations! Our friends coming from all over the world arrived on a Friday and left on Monday and their comments were always amazing, making this weekend even more special! We would like to mention the manager Cátia, being always available to support anything we need! Really anything!!!!
She was more than 5*!
If you are organising a wedding in coimbra this is the place to stay!!! If you are traveling the location is the best too! In the middle of the most characteristic streets, bars, restaurants! Just amazing and I wouldn’t change anything because of how amazing they were!
The breakfast served in the room was also a little surprised that make you feel like even more welcome! Such great start of day!!!!
Congratulations to all the team involved!
We loved it!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for your incredible space, service, atmosphere....

This is an establishment that prides itself on attention to detail. The staff could not have been more helpful, making suggestions for lunch and dinner, providing sparkling wine and cake on arrival, and delivering breakfast to our room the following morning. The room itself is on the small side but I would recommend venturing around the beautiful town of Coimbra rather than sitting on your bed considering how it could be bigger! The B&B is located on a hill but so is the whole town, impossible to avoid. I definitely recommend.

We are a small family of three but still the room is extremely cramped. You have to coordinate moving around the room. Bathroom and toilet are located in the room only separated by glass/sliding doors, but open on top, so everyone can ‘enjoy’ toilet visits, both visibly, audibly and aromatically. Not for everyone.
The hotel is not for families, more romantic getaways (if you don’t mind sharing your toilet habits).
Breakfast was served in a basket in a common room, which was okay. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
