We found the restaurant by accident upon arriving in Ponta Delgada and going for a walk. It was quite busy with people having dinner, so we decided to go back there the next day and check it out.
In fact, we went back there every single day.
The food is great, we had the grilled tuna, swordfish and chicken breast and different desserts. The local bread is delicious, they have wine from the islands, too, and the service is friendly and professional. As soon as we came back on the second day, they recognized us and treated us like old friends. If you ask for some advice concerning the food, they will tell you honestly what is good or not.
The place is unpretentious, with a mixed crowd, young, local people especially at lunch time, a nice mix of tourists and locals for dinner and lunch.
If you want to sit outside, you have some tables in front of the restaurant on the street or the little patio in the back.
It is a great place!
