“Taxi Drive around the Island”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

We walked out of the Pousada da Horta and into a cab and had an amazing drive around the Island. Our driver took us up to the top of the cloud covered Caldeira. Upon reaching the top, the sun broke throuigh the clouds and gave us spectacular views down into the Volcano. Definitely worth the trip and a little extra for the driver to personalise the tour for us!

“I do hope there are no clouds for you”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2012

Take the sightseeing walk around the caldeira. It is worth every minute. Never imagine myself surrounded by blue flowers. Beautiful views from Faial and surrounding islands.
A must see, don’t miss, have to go place. Take a small coat as it may be windy and a little cold.
Enjoy!

“Have to be lucky with the weather”

The views can be fantastic on a sunny day and you can walk around the place if you wish but be sure to go on a clear day or you will risk not seeing anything
