Interesting idea, except if you're not good at cooking. I either left the thing on too long or took it off too quick. I'd rather have someone who knows what they're doing do the work for me (as that's what I'm paying for). Also, not sure how this works with health codes -- serving raw pork, chicken, fish, and seafood on top of each other can't be right. Probably another reason why I overcooked things. However, It's a very popular place with the locals, and it's a pretty cool spot.

This has a twist on grilled food. Very thin slices of meat are served on a plate, you are then brought a red hot slab of stone on to which you put your meat and cook it in front of you. Then eat it with a selection of dips, salad and chips. It makes a nice change but prices are kind of high to say you are effectively cooking your own dinner!

You cook your own food in a hot stone! But is a wonderful experience! The service is good but its better to reserve a table, especially in the summer because the place is always full of locals and turists! A must do experience in this island! Just order the mix menu (of fish and meat) and have a cookie pudim in the end!

It is nice, for a change, to prepare your own food on a hot lava stone. The fish and meat all looked fresh and they certainly tasted fresh. I also received a salad, but it was more a very small plate with some old pieces of lettuce. Not really attractive to look at or to eat.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was average. The building is build in a form of the stern of a boat. It could use a fresh paint job and a nice sign that it is actually a restaurant. The interior also has the boat theme, but more an industrial type than an old sailing boat.

The place is very well located with a nice view to the docks (1floor). Loved the experience of cooking my food on a stone, tasted really good and (obviously) healthy! Cons: the place should have more ventilation with all the smoke happening and its kinda expensive. Overall i think is the best eating experience of the city.
