Casa Azul in Sagres is a nice place, if a little overpriced. At 105 euros/night, I'd expect a little better service. Very big and spacious rooms, and would be ideal for an extended stay. Was only there 2 nights. Informed staff on arrival that the door to the balcony was broken and would not lock. Not sure if anyone ever checked it out, but it remained broken for the duration of the stay. Not a huge problem considering we were on the 2nd floor, but would have liked for it to have been fixed. Breakfast was good enough. Bike rentals were 10 euros for the day, which was ok. Definitely got my 10 euros out of it. Rode it everywhere. Front desk staff was very helpful and arranged travel to the airport for an early morning flight from Faro to Porto. Also allowed me to print boarding passes there.
All in all, a nice place in sleepy Sagres, but not sure if I'd pay the 105E/night again. Would see if I could find a better value.More
