Very nice resort, everything was very well organized to make our stay comfortable.
We enjoyed very much the spa the beach and the tennis.
Breakfast was good i wouldn't say excellent.
We will definitely come back!

Great hotel superb views, outstanding nature. Sagres is one of the best destinations in Europe and Martilhal Hotel the way to experience the area in total luxury. Loved the rooms and the restaurant. To repeat without any doubt.

Even in low season there is plenty for families to do. Kids Club team have a new fan in my 6 year old son.
Brilliant staff, great food and leisure activities. Fantastic views. This resort is made for families of all ages!

We were due to travel from the UK in April 2020 and although we initially left our £1k GBP deposit with the hotel until we could change our plans - when it became clear we were not going to be able to travel for at least a year we requested a refund - which the hotel have refused.
So now we are in the horrible position of being charged interest on our CC for a trip we cannot take. During a pandemic this is a terrible way to treat families.
Room tip: Make sure you read your terms and conditions carefully before booking.

Please be careful when booking full ocean view. You will view the ocean, but it does not mean that you will enjoy a view without the burden of having other appartments in front of you.
The photo was taken sitting in the balcony. The appartment is a grand master FULL ocean view.

Despite a situation coming up during pur stay, the Martinhal team and especially Christie Collier made our stay - despite everything - a holiday! It was our second stay at Martinhal Sagres and we love all the kids‘ facilities. You can actually have a meal because there‘s someone in the corner playing with the kids. never seen this anywhere! thank you!!!!
