If you have stayed here once you are sure to be back. If you are looking for calm, beautiful scenery, a perfecty run hotel and the simple pleasures of sun, and sea then you will love this hotel. We stayed in the autumn of 2011 and when the English rain got too much this year we thought the only place to be in September was on this terrace overlooking the sea and cliffs. Came home after six days fully restored
There are excellent restaurants a short drive or walk away; fresh fish of course but plenty of other options. The beach and crashing waves are only a minute's walk below the hotel and the beach is perfect for that early morning, or star-lit walk
We didn't want to bother with a car on our short trip. Dolly arranged the taxi from and to the airport, so no "where is the hotel exactly" concerns; the same company picked us up in the evenings for dinner and were there to take us home later. It all adds to the ease of the holiday.
Breakfast on the sunny terrace is a real pleasure and the only problem as I write this is that I want to be back there now
Thank you Dolly. See you in 2013

Room Tip: There are no good or bad rooms; all are lovely I am sure. We like the Garden Room at the back whic...

Just a beautiful and peaceful spot to chill out for a few days. Staff are lovely, as is Dolly's attention to detail.
Beach and coastline are stunning...we recommend you hire a kayak and explore.
Good range of restaurants within walking distance

We spent our last 3 days in Algarve coast with Dolly. It was our first time in a B&B as we usually stay in 5 star hotels. It was a fantastic surprise. Only 5 rooms where we had two teenager in the one room and me and my wife in the other. It was super clean and fantatic atmosphere, it was almost if we had the place to ourselves. I can highly recommend this place and we hope to come back soon.

We spent a very pleasant, relaxing 6 nights at Dolly's a week or so ago, and can assure all potential guests that earlier glowing reviews are absolutely right!! It really is a totally unique experience, or at least one that we have never encountered before. The pictures do it justice but the tranquillity and peace cannot be captured on film.
Our room was huge by usual standards and the amount of hanging space was refreshingly generous. The honesty bar was charming with just about every need anticipated, coffee machine, nuts, sweets, a fridge containing beers and juices, numerous spirits and bottles of vino - even packets of ciggies.
The setting was stunning, sitting on a low cliff overlooking a beautiful beach, easily accesible from the Casa. We walked twice to Praia da Rocha along the beach and very enjoyable it was, not stony or shingly, just firm, walkable sand weaving in and out of little coves - charming!
It isn't a cheap option but having said that it is excellent value for money in my view, if you want something a bit different you won't resent the price and will come away feeling refreshed and renewed.

We spent the last 2 nights of our fortnight's holiday in Portugal here and it was just heavenly. Dolly and her staff were so attentive and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We loved having breakfast by the pool. Dolly's recommendations for restaurants were always spot on. A real gem and we will be back!

Staying at Casa Tres Palmeiras and being pampered by Mrs. Dolly and her friendly staff make life worth living, even though I must admit that it feels more like you are in heaven than on earth.

The hotel is right on the cliff of the Atlantic and you are the last house (nearly also the only) who is having this type of sea view overlooking the water, cliffs and beach. You just have to walk ca 2 minutes from the gates to the beach (you can borrow beach umbrellas of Dolly and she supplies you with a beach towel, which is only to be used on the sandy beach) and then head back to the salt water pool and sun chairs at the hotel (all guest has their own chair and a set of two beach towels handed out every morning). This year there were new, huge umbrellas by the pool, which gave some well needed shade, when the temperature were over 44 degrees Celcius for 3 days.

There is a lounge were you can mix your on drink, sit down and read one of the many paper back books from the library or you can just sit outside for the whole day (sun from early morning to late evening). I have not had a rental car during my stays at Casa Tres Palmeiras and I do think it works out very fine. Within 5 minutes you will find a O Lino, a very good fish restaurants, right on the beach, and aprox. 25 minutes away by foot, you get to all the buzz and restaurants which Praia de Rocha offerts. Since it gets dark around 20hrs in the summertime, Dolly provides all her guest with flash lights, so you can see your way to and back to the different restaurants.

I do not have words for how much I like Casa Tres Palmeiras and the feeling of being blessed to sit from early morning to late evenings by the house, just overlooking the sea and taking part of this paradise which Mrs Dolly and her staff is creating. It is a treat to visit this Mrs Dolly's Casa Tres Palmeiras and I am looking forward to return next year again.

Ps The rooms are great as well- spatious, pretty, and very luxurious.

We have just returned from a 2 night break at Casa Tres Palmeiras. It was complete perfection and Dolly was so helpful in her suggestions on what to eat and where. Eating breakfast overlooking the sea was very special and the room we had was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. We can't wait to return.
