This bar/restaurant is tucked away in a beautiful square next to the Hotel Jardim in Loule. My boyfriend and I visited the O Cacador on a number of occassions during our stay in Loule and I have to say we were never disappointed. The owner Sherry has created a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere with a local and international vibe. I sampled a number of dishes from the menu, from a classic Portugese Bifana to the amazing BLT. My boyfriends particular favourite was the hamburger and chips. All of the dishes on the menu are homemade and cooked fresh to order and one thing I was continually surprised at was the value for money for both the food and drinks.
There really is something for everyone here, whether its lunch and an espresso or a nice chilled bottle of Vinho Verde and tapas in the evening. Judging by the number of locals, expats and tourists that visit the O Cacador, I would say our views are shared by many.
