My girlfriend and I ordered starters (among the starters a delicious soft sheep's milk cheese), beef stroganoff and a beef chop for the main course and chocolate fondant and home made chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything served very timely and more importantly it tasted great. The service was top notch and we were mor than happy to pay 46€ (also including wine and beer).

We highly recommend visitors to Lagos to eat outside the historic center. That way you get more genuine restaurants that actually do their best for the customers they get. In the historic center most restaurants are always crowded and the quality we encountered was mediocre at best.

Excellent quality traditional food in a lovely rustic setting. Very friendly, welcoming hosts. 2 starters, 2 mains & 2 deserts with a litre carafe of the house red for €45. Very generous portions. We will definitely be back for the fish and chip night on Friday... A must visit if you're staying in this area of Lagos.

This little restaurant was close to our hotel and as we liked it we went back several times! Frendly people, good sevice for the right price. The menu offers a variety of dishes, fish and meat, served on decorated plates.

My boyfriend and I (25 and 27 from Melbourne) are huge food lovers (Italian background). We stayed at Carvi Beach Hotel in July and came here on recommendation from the hotel on our first night for dinner. All the atmosphere of Lagos is in old town but we were too tired to walk that far (only 10 mins!). So instead we came here, a 2 minute walk. We were so impressed with the quality of the food. We had about 5 tapas dishes to start with and then I had the most delicious salmon and my boyfriend had the peri peri chicken. The staff are so lovely and welcoming & the price is great too. Definitely recommend it for a yummy meal... and we are fussy!

We stayed in vilabranca and went for most meals inside the old town of lagos but we decided one evening to go off the beaten track and it was a great decision.
The food was superb and the owner silva is very passionate about his food. It is all fresh and you can taste it.
It is also very reasonably priced and the house red is gorgeous.
The Portuguese style steak is amazing and my fiancé had the prawns in a tomatoe cream. She loved hers.
Definitely worth a visit.
