“a friendly local in a vibrant town”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

I had heard that the old hideaway bar had reopened from friends of mine who live in lagos. thought here we go again open a few months find the going hard and close in no time.but when I visited it in October near the end of the holiday season I was pleasantly surprised plenty going on karaoke, quizzes and a regular singer.the bar staff are really friendly and you cant get a cheaper bar 1.50 a pint of san Miguel and 1 euro a glass of wine no wonder my friends and the rest of the ex pats go there regular. make this your local you wont be disappointed

My husband and i visited Lagos in October, We found this bar on the free maps, dotted around Lagos, We found Rick,Rozy & Steve,so very friendly and welcoming, the beer was cold , and the cheapest bar in Lagos, at 1.50 Euros,i reccomend the Green wine also at 1.50 Euros a glass.
They also have the cleanest toilets in Lagos, with a very nice hand balm in the ladies, Loved this bar ,so i bought the T-shirt.. Thanks, see you all nex year.

Great place to stop if you’re out in town in the midday sun. It would be even better if it had air con, but and a few cheap beers will soon cool you down. See if you can spot how sharp Jimi Hendrix's trouser creases are!
