“Quad biking adventure”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

My brother and I went to Lagos for 4 days in June. We had the most amazing time- Lagos has the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen! While there we went quad biking using Days of Adventure. Only cost 45 euros for an 1.5 hours of quad biking through amazing dirt roads and hills. Well worth it as i have been quad biking for more than this before and definitely didn't get as much for my money. We drove near the coast and our wonderful guide showed us some beautiful landscapes and gave us plenty of time to take photos. Many thanks to Days of Adventure and in particular Fernando (our guide) and Roland (the vendor).

“Exciting trip”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

This was an amazing 2-hour trip out into the sea around Portugal to see what wildlife we could find. According to the brochure, you have the chance to spot 3 types of dolphin, 2 types of whale as well as the odd turtle and of course, birds that are looking for their lunch.

On board, we had the choice of sitting upstairs (unsheltered) or downstairs to avoid wind at sea. There was a bar too, but I would advise bringing your own snacks and refreshments with you as you may find them pricy (£2.00 for a bottle of water).

Our trip began with a short talk about the history of various sites, pointed out to us by our guide as we left the marina. We then sped up as we left the dock, and were welcome to take photos anytime we liked.

Eventually, we spotted a pair of Dolphins who played alongside the boat and provided some great pictures. As they left, our driver followed and they led us to a much larger pod of around 10-20 dolphins who gaily played around the boat - so close you feel you could touch them!

As we headed back inland, we slowed down and were given another talk about the grottos at the edge of the cliffs. 2 for the price of 1! Overall this trip was very enjoyable and I would recomend it to anyone who would like to get away from the sunlounger to experence nature from some real experts.

“fun times with Quads and sea kayaks”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

went on two trips with Days of Adventure. Three of us went out with Fernando on a quad tour and had a blast. 2 of us had never been on quads before, but were instructed well and off in running in a few minutes. Always felt very comfortable and a great way to check out some of the land just outside of the city.

We also did the sea kayak trip. We were hoping to see the caves, but due to big waves, we were not able to get too close to the grottos. We still had fun out on the ocean in the kayaks and were lucky enough to also catch some bottle nose dolphins before taking the kayaks out. the crew was very nice and offered us some guidance on activities for the evening.

I recommend Days of Adventure.

“Awesome dude”

We (4 guys) went on the quad bike tour. It got highly suggested by the very helpful and friendly Joyce. Our guide was Fernando. He knew exactly how quick he could go while keeping safe but upmost exiting!

Hi
thanks for your revue and understand it is frustrating when we do not locate any dolphins, Please bear in that the dolphins are wild mammals and as such do not turn up were we would like them to do and on a daily basis, we do though allocate 2 hours per trip in a effort to locate Dolphins or other marine wildlife, incidentally 30 minutes more than any other dolphin trip departing from Lagos marina

We would be more than happy to offer you a free dolphin trip should you visit Lagos again and our sincere apologies that we did not on this occasion find the dolphins, though can see by the overwhelming revues from all companies operating here in Lagos that we all have a more than 95% success rate

Please note that it is not our normal practice to promote local attractions but do give a extended commentary regarding the wildlife we may encounter and the coastline and history of Lagos on our trips

Thanks again for your revue and look forward to meeting you at a future date to see these fabulous mammals in the natural habitat

best wishes
Steve
