We had our Condo Alberdira Mtg There, There and closed for our meeting, and did Guiness Stew & Dumplings etc for after.

Great Friday Night Entertainment, Excellent for our visitors @Condo Alberderia, you can have a drink and walk back to the Apartment. Would recommend.

“A Great place to go and visit”
Reviewed September 1, 2012

Myself and my family have just had 1 week staying in a wonderful villa in Albardeira..2 minutes away from lagos,. The owner of the villa told us to pop around the corner to chill out in Bar Silva whilst waiting for our keys..We were very tired from traveling with our children. As soon as we entered the bar we were met by the owner Rachel who was very friendly and the children took an instant like to her soon the crayons and paper were provided so the children could make pictures to put on the walls and the Wii machine was switched on for the older children. Myself and the other grown ups then chilled out on the terrace ... we enjoyed a fantastic lunch of fresh filled hot baguettes and the chef Kev made home made fillet burgers and nuggets for the children. We re-booked for dinner the following night and enjoyed a selection of racks of sticky ribs , piri piri chicken and homemade pie ... the chef will also cook whatever you want to eat fresh whilst you wait.. We returned on Friday evening to listen to live music and the children joined in and played tambourines and drums and again we all ate amazing food , i had the Chinese duck stir fry noddles... and the rest of the family enjoyed more sticky ribs and Pie... All in all Snack bar Silva was a place to remember for family entertainment amazing food and excellent music and on our return next year we will be visiting bar silva on many days and nights. Well done to Kevin and Rachel

“Great people and great live music”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

Thought the people were awsome and loved the live music going on that really gave a great atmostphere to the place. Even had a go my self and joined in. Loved the way you could order absolutely anything you want a few days before and they would go to the market and then make it for you. Great food, great service, great place to go

“The sequel was even better!”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

You know the feeling- you have waited a whole year to come away on holiday and you look forward to visiting the places that stood out for you on your last trip. Well for me and my family Bar Silva was one of those places. So much so that one of the first things I did when I arrived in the paridise that is the Algarve was to go to Bar Silva and say hello to our friends Kev and Rachel. We were greeted with the affection and excitement that only come when people are genuinely gald to see you and have genuinely missed you. The personal touch is always the best. We arranged to come in for dinner that night- 14 of us!
That night was only one of many nights spent in Bar Silva. We kept coming back for the music, the company and of course Kev's food. This year we discsovered the joys of more traditional Portuguese dishes like Fesuado- white and red chorizo cooked long and slow with kidney beans and served with rice. Simple and tasty. Pork and clams were also a family favourite. But this year it was Kev's seafood that blew us away. From huge sea bass to my favourite stuffed squid (I want to go back!) to whole fish cooked in a casing of sea salt, Kev knows how to cook fish. Always light, flavourful and moist. The huge garlic prawns were also super. He's a talented guy.
Bar Silva served up food, entertainment, company and fun in equal measures. There's a group of people over there in Lagos- Kev, Rachel, Ivan, Dan, James, Reggie, Sue, Ju, Jose- who keep Bar Silva as a living breathing thing. It really is the best little place in Lagos. You need to check it out. We certainly will again, and again, and again......
