This is the 3rd year in a row we've been to Lagos, someone recommended this restaurant to us in the UK before we set off.
We visit plenty good restaurants in Lagos and when we first went into this one, Our first thought was how clean it was. We actually told the waitress our thoughts when she took our order and to our surprise the owner came over to us and invited into the Kitchen..Well we had to have a look then didn't we?
It was absolutely spotless, as were the entire restaurant.
When we received our food, the portions were really generous.... the quality was excellent and the service matched the quality of the food.
It turns out that the owners are an English couple.
When we go abroad we normally choose to eat where the locals eat, but in all honesty, this food was great and we visited it again several times.
Although we didn't manage to have Sunday lunch there this time, we spoke to an English family who live there and said that they couldn't cook it as cheap as the international could provide it for. So every Sunday they have their family meal at the international.
So next time guess where were having roast beef on a Sunday?
there is also a lovely courtyard to sit out in and Flat screen tv's if you want sky sports. ( this didnt interfere at all with us while we ate either).
all in all, a really good place to try...
