This holiday was going to be a disaster but thanks to the guys in Flow house and awesome weather and plenty to do, we had the time of our life full of brilliant memories that no amount of money will ever be able to buy. Flow house is close to Incredible beautiful beaches and 15 min walk to the old town of Lagos. Alex is an amazing manager he not only goes that extra mile to suit your needs but also knows all the really little typical places where to go and with whom to book which activity. They made us feel at home and part of their family the rooms are super clean, so are the shared toilets and bathrooms, all guest are really respectful and nice. I can only state that we will be coming back

Alex and Maia have several rooms in the main house, an outhouse and apartments in the neighbourhood - each is kept to a great standard and have the facilities to go with. We stayed two nights while exploring Lagos and while it is tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood out of the town centre, it's close enough (10-15 mins) to the beaches and to the old town (20 mins) to avoid the noise and bustle to make your stay pleasant. We enjoyed our stay but mostly took away a lot of advice from Alex on what's what and happening in the vicinity of Lagos and the surrounding areas and even things to do as far away as Lisbon and Porto where we were headed next, we really appreciated his helpful attitude, time and humour . Would definitely stay here again and so it is highly recommended.

The bed was excellent. The description of the hotel is deceptive. Contrary to the description on both the BnB's site and Hotels.com, there is NO balcony or terrace for all rooms. Where we stayed, there is a metal door, locked, and we were not given a key for it. There was a chair placed in front of the door, so it could not have been by accident.

There is mention of fee toiletries. There was absolutely nothing in the room not even a bar of soap. In fact, we even had to pay 75 cents for paying by credit card.

The wifi reception was fine in the living room, but very intermittent in the room.

The hotel has 6 rooms, but the owner lives in one, so it should read 5 rooms.

In the negative comments most frustration comes from the owner. That was easily the most negative point for us. If this business could be managed by someone competent and professional, it has a lot of potential. Read on the owner's response to see what kind of attitude we had to deal with.

Room Tip: Wifi reception on-off in the room

This is an amazing place to stay in Lagos. The house is beautiful, with a large kitchen and very cosy dining room. There is also a garden, where you can have your breakfast, which is very romantic I would say. The rooms and the bathrooms are very, very clean. Alex and his wife were very nice to us. Alex told us about all of the places we could visit in Lagos and also arranged for us a surf course and kayaking around the cliffs in Lagos. We felt like home, which for me was the most important thing. The house is perfect for a romantic holiday. Me and my boyfriend will definitely recommend it and will choose it for sure, if we go back to Lagos some day.

We couldn't have been happier with our experience here - the rooms are lovely, sunny, and clean. Alex was incredibly friendly and informative, he gave us some great recommendations on restaurants and stuff to do in Lagos that made the trip a lot better. It's not right in the centre, but very close to the beaches, and the centre seemed quite noisy at night so it's just as well. Breakfast was very complete, and we were able to eat it outside on a nice sunny patio. Lovely place to stay in a lovely town. Can't go wrong with this one.
