The bed was excellent. The description of the hotel is deceptive. Contrary to the description on both the BnB's site and Hotels.com, there is NO balcony or terrace for all rooms. Where we stayed, there is a metal door, locked, and we were not given a key for it. There was a chair placed in front of the door, so it could not have been by accident.

There is mention of fee toiletries. There was absolutely nothing in the room not even a bar of soap. In fact, we even had to pay 75 cents for paying by credit card.

The wifi reception was fine in the living room, but very intermittent in the room.

The hotel has 6 rooms, but the owner lives in one, so it should read 5 rooms.

In the negative comments most frustration comes from the owner. That was easily the most negative point for us. If this business could be managed by someone competent and professional, it has a lot of potential. Read on the owner's response to see what kind of attitude we had to deal with.

Room Tip: Wifi reception on-off in the room

This is an amazing place to stay in Lagos. The house is beautiful, with a large kitchen and very cosy dining room. There is also a garden, where you can have your breakfast, which is very romantic I would say. The rooms and the bathrooms are very, very clean. Alex and his wife were very nice to us. Alex told us about all of the places we could visit in Lagos and also arranged for us a surf course and kayaking around the cliffs in Lagos. We felt like home, which for me was the most important thing. The house is perfect for a romantic holiday. Me and my boyfriend will definitely recommend it and will choose it for sure, if we go back to Lagos some day.

We couldn't have been happier with our experience here - the rooms are lovely, sunny, and clean. Alex was incredibly friendly and informative, he gave us some great recommendations on restaurants and stuff to do in Lagos that made the trip a lot better. It's not right in the centre, but very close to the beaches, and the centre seemed quite noisy at night so it's just as well. Breakfast was very complete, and we were able to eat it outside on a nice sunny patio. Lovely place to stay in a lovely town. Can't go wrong with this one.

My husband and I had a great time at Flow House. Alex & Maya were fabulous hosts and the whole residence felt like a home away from home. Alex was extremely helpful in every way, providing great local knowledge and tips. He helped arrange our transfers, car hire and even introduced us to some Portuguese wines giving background and history and a small sampling - he sells these also and we bought a couple of bottles. The guesthouse is in a quiet residential area, very conveniently located, near to 4 beaches at least and a 15-20min walk into the town centre. I cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough and both my husband and I will be returning in the near future.

Room Tip: The bungalow is good, rooms with own bathroom and/or balcony

Really nice house a little bit out of the center of Lagos, but very close to the beaches. I like the most about the house that is was so quiet and peacefull. If you are looking for accomodation were you can get some rest this is the place to be!
For a breakfast you get a lot from cereals to fresh fruit, bread, jam&butter, ham&cheese, coffee, tea... The best about the breakfast is that you can eat it on a beautiful terrace outside of the house!
