We passed this place the night before and it looked busy so we thought we'd try it. We were first 'greeted' by a rather stern looking man and then handed over to (what we realised some time later) a French waitress with very little, if any, English which made finding out what the daily fish specials were a challenge to say the least!! She told us Seabass was finished but yet 15 minutes later someone was brought Seabass from the kitchen. When our wine arrived we had to stop her pouring freely into both our glasses without offering us the opportunity to taste first, she didn't look at all impressed with us then. Our food was lovely, fab fish and fab potatoes ... but service was just so abrupt, unfriendly and non customer focused. We didn't get as much as a smile, thanks, goodbye, nadda when we left. It's a pity because it could be a real jewel otherwise.
